Lygia has been great after three lessons. She was more than willing to meet me where I am at with my Portuguese learning and consistently asks for input on specific things that I want to cover. She is very knowledgeable about the linguistics side of things and because she is fluent in portuguese, spanish and english has been able to effectively relate all three to help me understand topics better. She is personable and has graciously been flexible with schedule when she was able. I highly recommend taking classes with Lygia!

I feel like Lygia is not just my teacher, but also my career coach. We spent four months working on leveling up my Upper-Intermediate English to a point where I could land a job at an international company. And we did it! She helped me with interview prep, my LinkedIn profile, and building confidence in myself and my voice. I worked with Lygia to improve my Spanish for professional purposes, as I already had a B2 level and wanted to take it further. Our classes focused specifically on the Latin American variant of Spanish, with strong attention to cultural aspects.
