We work within your zone of proximal development — meaning we focus on what you can already achieve with the right support and gradually stretch that space. Our sessions prioritize the blocks of language knowledge, communicational skills, and voice integration most relevant to your goals, according to your sense of urgency, context, or personal preference.

I am trained in several traditional teaching methodologies (PPP, TPR, TBLT, flipped classroom, among others) and have extensive experience in tutoring across various contexts (business, technical, intensive, exam preparation). When relevant, I draw from this knowledge. However, while traditional language teaching focuses almost exclusively on the language itself, my work is centered on overall communication in a foreign language. This includes the language, but is complemented by an integrated focus on multilingual personality, humor, voice integration, narrative development, soft skills, and meaning-making — all grounded in your cultural and personal frames of reference.
